Saturday, October 10th, 2026

Internet poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers attain five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s first card, you need to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is equal to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with an amount on par with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up chips equal to your wager and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
