Internet poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players receive five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including an amount in accordance with the original bet. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your ante and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
