Internet poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out money even with your ante and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
