Internet poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The bank pays out chips equal to your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
