Newcomer Schemes for Pai Gow Poker

February 2nd, 2017 at 21:25

Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, unlike most other poker games that players compete against other players. By competing against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about other, more advanced people taking their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make frenzied decisions.

It’s also much simpler to play for an extended time with only a small bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
