Poker Aces references two aces being dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest attainable pre-flop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But regardless a large number of gamblers end up on the wrong end when dealt these cards.

When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t fold before theflop. You’re positioned with the best possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say no to that.

Always remember, you’re trying to acquire as much profit from this strong position. You want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply drive most gamblers into dropping out without placing a bet.

If you’re in the early position (first or 2nd to bet), you will make a single wager. Any player with a good hand will call, with hope somebody might raise. If there has been a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your strategy will be to get rid of any player that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are lucky you’ll fool one player into thinking that you are bluffing.

If you are in the middle or later spot (near the last to bet) you will observe as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Defend your hand by making others to drop out following the flop. If you do not get rid of your competitors you chance squandering your hand.
